I got a Grobot way back when they first came out and then upgraded to the EVO. I have been growing for 15 years and never has my stuff looked this good. Started out with one and now have six. Plants are bigger, healthier and better in ever way. I was running two rooms on a flip box. The room with the grobot kicked the other rooms a**. Hands down it's like night and day the difference this thing makes.

I've owned the GBE for several months now and I really like it. It can take some time to set up but that is really associated with designing other aspects of your garden/system. In reality it is pretty simple to set up the actual unit and get everything going. Especially if you've set up a router or a network before. The user interface is also quite good. It is really basic and enables me to control every device I need to using either the sensors, timers or calendar. Or a combination of them all. I was really happy when I came to the realization that I don't have to program a variety of timers, boxes and switches anymore. If you've set up indoor gardens you know what it's like trying to time everything and plug all those adapters in, and route the cords, etc. It can also be a safety hazard. The GBE solved that. The other thing I'm really happy about is how I no longer have to drain/refill on my own and can even initiate a cleaning cycle remotely. This is key for keeping roots healthy in dwc type applications. With my drip feed on one channel, drain pump/valve on another channel and fill valve on another, I'm able to keep things clean and the root system healthy... automatically! You can't beat that. As for the company and support, they've been awesome. I had an issue with how the drain/refill function worked for my system, which could have been solved by re-routing my drain, would have also been a lot of work. Purgro tech support worked with me and added a software fix for the issue. The only con I mentioned is related specifically to dwc type applications and really is more of a wishlist for the next upgrade. Also though the system could considered expensive, especially when you add extra relays. However, considering all the components involved, how they all work together and how it is all connected to a graphic user interface, that is connected to the Internet, the price makes sense. The whole CCG (computer controlled growing) thing is definitely growing on me. And for me! Which is really quite amazing, when I think about what could be done with this technology.

I have been using the GroBot in our store grow-room now for 2 months and I love it! This environmental computer controller takes all the work out of growing and allows easy and constant monitoring of your grow-room environment and hydroponic system. From a laptop or smart phone I am able to control all facets of our grow-room including: light timing, water level, pH, nutrient injection (of up to 8 chemicals), Co2, exhaust and intake fans, even changing the reservoir can all be accomplished remotely. Further it has radio controlled outlets for wireless installation of accessories, encrypted camera feeds for visual monitoring and alarms for windows and doors. It is user friendly and is designed with simple self explanatory controls. Having a perfect pH and ppm level maintained has made a dramatic difference in the health of the plants and the many automation features has saved me lots of time. It is truly the wave of the future as far as hydroponics is concerned. I highly recommend it for any grower who may not have the time to keep constant vigil over their garden or anyone who just wants a better grow with less work. There is nothing cooler than changing my reservoir from an airport across the country with my I-phone!!!!

I purchased the Grobot Hydroponics system about 6 months ago on www.purgro.com and can already notice a HUGE difference from my other hydroponic plants. The size of my Lettuce is literally double my traditional hydroponic growing methods. I also do not have to go home if i need to clean and adjust my ph levels as the grobot does all that for me and can monitor it all on my cell phone, how awesome is that. I am loving my grobot hydroponics system and will be recommending it to my friends and fellow growers. If you have any doubts just check out some of the reviews they have online

I purchased the full grobot hydroponics system from www.purgro.com about a year ago. I have been a grower for most of my life,I started growing tomato's and sprout beans and have always grown in standard nit enriched dirt until my friend told me about hydroponics. My first tomato plant that i grew with the grobot produced more tomatos in two months than ten of my plants in the garden grew in six months. I am now switching hydroponics for all my growing needs. The grobot is my system of choice.
